Venus Beach Hotel is adjacent to the archaeological park of the Tombs of the Kings, the most important ancient site in Paphos, and is situated on a natural sandy beach. A variety of restaurants offer a wide range of choice for an incredible array of daytime and night time dining experiences.

I would like to recomend this hotel to my friends, but they should pay more attention to visitors wi

Each day was the same food and it wasn't very nice. Usually it was cold. We would like more sea food and fish. We expected more fruit and normal juice, but we get only juice drink.

A lot of noise around the hotel from early morning. Bad path to the sea. Lady, who did the gymnastic didn't pay attention to people who asked to ply music not very loud. We had a problem with transfer, because when we came late at night there wasn't a car, which was promised when we made reservation.

The hotel is in a very nice location, with probably one of the best beaches accessible on this part of the coast. The beach is accessible within 100 yards, with sunbeds and umbrellas available for private hire. Beach towels are available from the hotel, which can easily be exchanged for clean ones the next day. The pool area is very nice. A small bar with staff who will take your orders at the poolside. There is a lady who does poolside activities, such as yoga, etc. The dining area is terraced and a good place to eat breakfast outside. The food is pretty standard for a hotel of this category. The omelettes were particularly nice. There's a decent selection and variety. The staff were attentive and kept the whole place clean and clear ready for more guests as the morning went on. The rooms were sufficient for our stay, the room staff kept our room very clean and tidy. We had a partial Seaview despite not having paid for it. There is evening entertainment at the bar which was pleasant.

As previous reviews, this hotel is not 5 star and Booking.Com need to stop advertising it as so. The hotel is dated, tired looking and in need of refurbishment. The price we paid, 1800 GBP for 2 rooms was not value for money. The whole place needs a lick of paint to cheer it up, along with the staff. Overall, it seemed the staff couldn't wait for the season to be over. This happens sometimes. The customer seems to be an inconvenience to some here. The pool area shuts at 6pm. This also happens to be the time of sunset. A staff member made it very plain to us that we had to leave the sunbeds and sit somewhere else, then proceeded to very noisily tidy up around us like a petulant child. At the moment, the Cyprus Govt are developing the shoreline with a marvellous walkway along the seafront. Unfortunately, this means wire fencing along the pool area looking out to the ocean and mechanical diggers from 0800 to 1800 hours. There is alot of disruption to the beachfront access. In a few weeks I expect this will be completed. The town facing rooms are open to the noise from the close by dual carriageway, which sounds like a racetrack in the evenings. The balconies are far too small. A friend who travelled with us , paid for a Seaview room but got the same view as us. Not great. In the town view rooms, there is no tea and coffee provisions. This is pretty poor considering it is standard even in travel lodge rooms UK for 30 quid a night. The reception staff eventually conceded after my wife complained. I could go on, but you get the gist. Not good value for money, building works in progress, some of the facilities are closed for refurbishment and a tired hotel and staff. On reflection, we had a nice holiday, but we had to filter out the negatives to do that. Try somewhere else.

It was a great 4 day relax stsy

We gad a great room with sea view and pool view and welcoming wine bottle. Comfortable beds, great breakfast, big pool with cascade and bubble massage. Plenty of sunbeds snd just next to the sea with sandy bottom, no need for swimming shoes. Very helpful and mostly polite stuff. Very close to Kato Paphos and to Harbour. We used taxi it was from 10 to 15 eur depending upon the time

Come for the location, but stay away if you want peace and quiet

The closeness to Venus Beach and the sunset view.

The forced entertainment (singing and dj) every night until 11 pm, that was so loud that you could not escape it, not even in your room, was a big bummer. Sleeping or watching a movie before 11 was not really an option. Same goes for during the day. It's nice that there is yoga and stuff, but why does she need a boombox and shout through a mic. And the food sucked. Better to go to Jimmy's across the street! Everything was kind of basic and felt like they were a little complacent. Fine for a 3 star hotel, but definitely not a 5 star hotel. For instance, our room had a connecting door with the neighbors and they didn't bother to check if the door was locked, so we had someone come into the room in the night (by accident), which was weird to say the least. Also the door was thin, so you could hear everything. Couldn't really sleep the first two nights because of the bear that was snoring next door. Or the fact that there was a lot of construction happening next to the hotel with lots of noise, which they can't do anything about of course, but some acknowledgement would've been nice. Even if it's just an apology and a free drink or something. Again, fine for a 3 star, but not for a 5 star.

Great place to stay with family

Breakfast was good, very lovely place, lovely beach and pool. Great view from the balcony! The staff is very nice and very helpful! I definitely would recommend it for a family, lovely kids club as well!

We had some issues with our Air conditioning, it went off several times a day but the staff always came and fixed it. Once i tried to just have a glass with some ice cubes but the staff wasn't very pleasant, apparently, they only give you ice cubes if you order a drink, this is something i haven't met in other places.

I had a mixed experience at the Venus Hotel. Its location is quite favorable, nestled close to a lively strip where I enjoyed watching football and rugby at a bar across the road, and dined out too. Moreover, the hotel is adjacent to a beautiful beach which adds to its appeal. The general cleanliness was up to the mark although the facilities seemed a bit dated. My room was a blend of modern and clean, yet the toilet felt somewhat flimsy. The staff was pleasant and welcoming throughout my stay. However, the value was compromised due to ongoing renovations which caused some noise disruption, obstructed paths to the beach, and restricted access to amenities like the sauna and steam room. Additionally, the cost felt on the higher side considering these inconveniences. The food offered was average, leaving some room for improvement. Despite these setbacks, the proximity to entertainment and the beach made for an enjoyable stay.
